Permission is granted to temporarily use ScopeGuard for personal or commercial freelancing purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose outside of your freelancing business
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on ScopeGuard
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

3. Service Description

ScopeGuard provides AI-powered scope creep detection and change order generation for freelancers. Features include:

• Contract analysis and deliverable extraction
• Email monitoring for out-of-scope requests
• Automated change order generation
• Revenue tracking and analytics

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually based on your chosen plan. Early bird pricing is locked in for the lifetime of your subscription, provided there are no lapses in payment. All fees are non-refundable except as provided in our 30-day money-back guarantee.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers.

Your use of ScopeGuard is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We use your data solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it to train AI models outside of your specific account context.

You retain all rights to your contracts, emails, and generated change orders. ScopeGuard retains all rights to the software, algorithms, and AI models. You grant us a limited license to process your data to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

ScopeGuard is provided as a tool to assist with scope management. We are not liable for any disputes between you and your clients. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
